The Harmony of Bytes and Beats

Being a GenZ, folk culture caught my lens in a very vivid manner. Amongst all the rich languages our culture carries, I am surrounded much more by the slangs and abbreviations used while texting. The enchanting folk dances and music are seen only in the Republic Day parade broadcasted each year. Some folklores I am aware of are only because of the late-night stories narrated by my elder ones. However, just a pinch of the existence of all these elements in my life gives me a sense of belonging which is a very important aspect of a healthy lifestyle.

But why then nowadays technology and folk culture are kept on the two plates of the weighing balance and the older folks measure the plate of culture more and the contemporary youth puts all the weight on technology?

A beautiful and underrated coexistence of technology and folk culture is seen to exist in this universe. Amongst the elements of our culture,and equations of the artificial brain a concordant relation can be seen. The delicate and warm culture harmoniously coexists with the metallic and cool technological entities. Imagine a world where the rhythmic beats of the traditional tabla harmonize with the digital pulses. The beautiful vibrant traditional hues can be seen expressing themselves on digital canvases being more preserved and creatively created. The vast heritage, dramatic, mythological as well and valuable tales can be experienced in person using the virtual reality provided by Web3 technology nowadays. A world can be imagined where technology is not the enemy of the glorious and rich past but a side buddy that is ever evolving, helping provide the culture with numerous new methods not to fade out and expand itself in inconceivable ways.

I feel that folk culture is a repository of human experiences, it connects generations, allows the next generations to learn from them, modify them, and just blend in them.
